Purchases
Purchases & Unlimited
What's free forever, how the 7-day free start and the monthly and yearly Unlimited plans work, and how to restore purchases on another Mac.
What’s free
The app is free, and the Free Forever screensavers are free for everyone: every Retro Classic, game and clock. No trial, no subscription. See Pricing.
On top of that, Free this month unlocks 25 more screensavers for everyone, a fresh set every calendar month. See this month’s set.
Everything else: 7 days free, then monthly or yearly
Every other screensaver is part of SCRNSVRS Unlimited. The first time you open SCRNSVRS, every screensaver is unlocked for 7 days – no payment details, nothing to cancel, and you’re never charged automatically.
After that, Unlimited is $1.99 / €1.99 per month or $9.99 / €9.99 per year. Both plans unlock every screensaver, including every new one, and both renew automatically until you cancel.
The App Store shows your local price before you confirm.
Bought a screensaver on its own before? It stays yours – single screensavers are no longer sold, but earlier purchases keep working and restore as usual.
Restore purchases on another Mac
Purchases belong to your Apple Account, and Restore Purchases covers both the monthly and the yearly plan. On the other Mac, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account, open SCRNSVRS and choose Restore Purchases in Settings → Purchases (also on any unlock screen).
Manage or cancel Unlimited
Settings → Purchases → Manage or Cancel Subscription…, or App Store → your account → Subscriptions. Unlimited runs until the end of the paid period. The Free Forever screensavers stay unlocked after that.
Redeem a code
Got an App Store code? Choose Redeem Code… in Settings → Purchases.
Family Sharing
Purchases and the subscription are not shared with your family at the moment.
A purchase isn’t showing up
Make sure you’re signed in with the Apple Account you bought with, then choose Restore Purchases. If the App Store isn’t reachable, SCRNSVRS keeps your unlocked scenes and checks again when you’re back online.
