Set a live wallpaper

1. Open SCRNSVRS and select a scene.
2. Click Set as Wallpaper.

The scene now plays on your desktop on every display, behind all other windows.

Pause or stop it

• Pause: click the menu bar icon and choose Pause. Choosing a new wallpaper resumes playback.
• Stop: turn the wallpaper off in Settings → Screensaver & wallpaper.

It saves energy by itself

A live wallpaper only renders when you can see it. When windows cover the desktop completely, it pauses. On battery, in Low Power Mode or when your Mac runs hot, it drops to 30 fps. See Battery & performance.

Rotate wallpapers

The wallpaper can play its own playlist, separate from the screensaver – for example clocks on the desktop and retro classics when you step away. See Playlists.
