Refund Policy

Last Updated: 22 October 2026 · All policies

SCRNSVRS is sold exclusively through the Mac App Store. Every purchase, including the SCRNSVRS Unlimited subscription, is a transaction between you and Apple. Apple charges your Apple Account, issues the receipt and decides on refunds under its own terms. We never see your payment details.

1. Try before you buy

The app and the Free Forever screensavers are free. For the first 7 days after you open the app, every other screensaver is unlocked too, so you can try each one, with all of its settings, before you pay. No payment details are needed for this and nothing is charged automatically. After that you can subscribe to SCRNSVRS Unlimited, monthly or yearly.

2. How to request a refund

  1. In SCRNSVRS, open Settings → Purchases → Request a Refund…, or
  2. go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, select the purchase and choose Request a refund.

Apple usually decides within a few days and tells you by email. If a refund is granted, the screensaver locks again on all your Macs. A refunded subscription ends immediately.

We cannot issue refunds ourselves, because we don’t receive or hold your payment.

3. Your right of withdrawal (EU and UK)

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because Apple is the seller, you exercise this right towards Apple, using the steps above. Apple’s Media Services Terms explain the details, including when the right ends for digital content that has already been delivered.

4. Cancelling SCRNSVRS Unlimited

Cancelling is not a refund: it stops the next renewal.

  • In SCRNSVRS: Settings → Purchases → Manage or Cancel Subscription…
  • Or: App Store → your account → Subscriptions.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Unlimited stays active until then. The Free Forever screensavers stay unlocked after it ends.

5. Something not working?

If a screensaver doesn’t work as described, tell us first – we’d rather fix it. Write to hello@scrnsvrs.com with your Mac model and macOS version. Your statutory warranty rights for digital products are not affected by this policy (see section 8 of the Terms of Use).
